In 2008 we established herring & herring as a synthesis of fashion photography and art direction. since our first shoot together, we have aimed to push the boundaries of story telling through an ever-expanding visual vernacular, choosing to base our photographic approach upon
concepts rather than a singular style.

This year we are introducing our namesake bi-annual,
herring & herring; a fashion monograph with a reductive viewpoint: no written editorials, trend forecasts, or beauty tips, only arresting fashion images that bring personality, humor, and sarcasm to the world of fashion photography.

The print version of herring & herring is not subscription based or available for sale. instead we chose to distribute selectively, shipping globally to a select
group of creative insiders.
